Over the last decades, skate, street, and fashion have undergone radical transformations. The campaign video introduces a series of dichotomous pairings through split screens, producing a visual hybrid between the elements of mountains and cities. The DNA of Moncler is juxtaposed with the urban aesthetics of Fragment and Converse, depicted through the lens of the skate community. A joint world is envisioned from the contrasting cultures of high-end luxury and gritty streetwear. Furthermore, this world juxtaposes coupled themes such as stillness vs. action, depth vs. flatness, aerial vs. perspective, and figural vs. textural. These opposite qualities are bound together through visual continuities established through shapes and shadows.
